Terms & Conditions – ZatPermit

General Terms & Conditions 

  • All permits are electronic and there is no need to display a permit in the vehicle 
  • Permits are available for many of our car parks countrywide. They can be purchased for 1 month, 3 months or 6 months. Yearly permits are available at specific car parks only
  • Are valid between the start and finish times stated on the permit confirmation email you received. If you have a ZatPermit account you can check the dates by looking at the ‘My Bookings’ area on your account. 
  • It is your (the permit holder’s) responsibility to ensure that the correct date and start time for the permit is purchased. If this is not correct, changes to dates must be completed by the Admin team prior to the start date of the permit and can take up to 5 working days to process. These changes will incur a £10 admin fee. It is not possible to amend valid dates for permits which have already started. 
  • Are only valid for the one vehicle registration parked at any one time
  • Can only be used in pay and display parking bays which are not reserved bays. 
  • DO NOT guarantee a parking space at any time or at any location. 

 

Car Park Terms & Conditions

  • All permit holders should adhere to all parking restrictions applied to any RCP Parking Ltd car park (as displayed on notice boards in the car parks). 
  • RCP Parking Ltd accepts no liability in respect of loss or damage to any vehicle or any contents thereof. 
  • RCP Parking Ltd may close all or any part of a car park whenever it is considered such closure is reasonably necessary. Permit holders must not enter any car park once closed. Failure to comply with signs or instructions given may result in action being taken by the RCP Parking Ltd. Refunds will only be considered on a full month basis. 

 

Vehicle Registration Changes

  • It is the permit holder’s responsibility to enter the correct vehicle registration details when purchasing the permits and check it on the email confirmation. 
  • One Vehicle change is allowed per permit for 1 month, 3 month and 6 months
  • Two Vehicle changes are allowed on Yearly permits

Cancellations / Refunds

  • An admin fee of £10 will be deducted from all refunds paid for cancelled permits 
  • 1 month permits - Refunds are not available for the 1 month permits unless they have not yet started, in which case cancellation and a refund can be arranged if a request is made to the Admin team 5 working days in advance of the permitt start date. 
  • 3 month and 6 month permits - Refunds are not payable for the first month of these permits. They are only payable on the period of time remaining from 1 month onwards, even if it is cancelled within the first month of it being valid eg the maximum refund for a 3 month permit will be 2 months. Refunds will be payable from the date on which we receive the request and will not be backdated to account for time before you officially contacted us.
  • 6 month or Yearly permits for Whitlingham Country Park are non-refundable if cancelled within the duration
  • Whilst we will endeavour to give reasonable notice of cancellation, we reserve the right to cancel the permit with immediate effect and any unexpired pre-paid permit will be refunded. 

 

How to request cancellations/refunds: 

  • These should be put in writing by email to: seasonpass@rcpparking.com or by post to RCP Parking Ltd, 13 Diamond Road, Norwich, NR6 6AW, stating the permit number, the name of the person who purchased the permit and the date from which it will no longer be required. 
  • If eligible, a refund will be payable for the remaining time left on the permit and will be made to the credit/debit card by which it was purchased. If this is not possible for any reason, the refund will be made in the form of a cheque, posted to the address of the purchaser of the permit. It can take up to 28 days to process cheques. Refunds can only be made to the person named on our records as the purchaser of the permit. 

 

Reminders / Renewals

  • Permits purchased online via ZatPermit: It is possible for the permit holder to set email reminders at the time of permit purchase when using ZatPermit. It is the responsibility of the permit purchaser to set reminders at the time of purchase and they cannot be added after purchase. 
  • It is not possible for temporary arrangements to be made for parking if a permit is not renewed in time. If the permit has expired before a new one has been purchased, parking must be paid for until then. 

 

Account Contact Details

  • It is your responsibility to ensure contact phone numbers and email addresses are updated in your ZatPermit account so that reminders and correspondence are received correctly.

 

Other Conditions 

  • Any breaches of the Terms and Conditions outlined above may result in a Parking Charge Notice being issued. 
  • Serious abuse of the system will lead to the cancellation of the permit and would affect your ability to obtain further permits. 
  • Contravention of other parking restrictions found at the car park, could lead to the issue of a Parking Charge Notice, irrespective of a valid permit being in place.
